A vintage needlepoint tapestry, sourced in London and stitched by hand decades ago — an oversized paisley in the kind of color the seventies wore without flinching.
Rather than leave her to a wall, I cut into it and gave her somewhere to go. The silhouette is boxy and deliberate, grounded by a genuine leather base and lifted on gold feet. Inside, a Liberty London lining mirrors the original pattern so closely the two could be mistaken for one another — old work and new, speaking the same language.
