The Penelope in Orangerie

The same oranges, blossoms, and leaves on navy — Orangerie, drawn from the skirt I'm stitching panel by panel in The Long Stitch, so you might stitch alongside the journey at your own pace. The orange blossom is Florida's flower, which makes this one quietly close to home.

The Penelope is the larger silhouette, finishing to roughly 10" by 5" — a little more canvas to lose yourself in — with a 2" by 36" strap. She comes ready to stitch, printed on 13-mesh canvas, with finishing instructions included for the suitably crafty or for the finisher of your choice.

Take the canvas alone, or the complete kit, which pairs her with Appleton's wool in all eleven colors the design calls for.
