In 1972, Mary Miller Weaver of Virginia worked a stitch sampler in chartreuse and cream, every square a different stitch, most of it done in the passenger seat on weekend drives. Her daughter wanted it carried, not kept in a drawer.
So here she is: Mary's sampler set into Italian chocolate suede and finished with turn-lock hardware. A thin dark brown leather crossbody strap comes with her. Fifty-some years in the making, finished to be carried for fifty more.
